Mojizu Manifesto:
Moji is character and Mojizu.com is the online community for artists and their characters.
Mojizu is for the people who create characters and people who just love them, from experienced artists to casual doodlers. If you draw characters for a living – it’s a place to showcase them and expose your talent to a wide audience around the world. If you draw characters as a hobby, it’s a place to improve your skills and get feedback from a large community of character lovers.
Mojizu is currently in Beta stage – and we are eager to get user feedback on all aspects of the site. Please report any bugs you come across as well as any suggestions or comments. We will be rolling out new functionality regularly during our beta phase. Check our site blog for updates on new features that are coming soon.
The driving concept behind Mojizu is to help nurture an online community of artists and art fans and to create a platform where artists can expose their characters to the world.
Through Mojizu, you can create your own unique profile page that describes you and your approach to character art, links to your home page and showcases your Mojis. Fans of your Mojis can visit your profile page and comment on your art. Use Mojizu to make new contacts and friends with people who share your artistic passions.
Each Moji that you submit is carefully showcased on the site. Users get to vote on individual Mojis and provide comments. They can also learn more about you from your profile page and see other Mojis that you have submitted. Mojizu runs regular ongoing competitions where the most popular Mojis win cash prizes for their creators. Learn more.
Mojizu also serves as a global store specializing in distributing digital and physical merchandise of Moji art for the benefit of you the artist. When you upload your Moji’s you are assigning non-exclusive limited rights to Mojizu so that we can then offer various merchandise for sale that incorporates your Moji art.
All profit from merchandise is split evenly between Mojizu and the artists that created it. The “Your accounts” section provides detailed stats on all of your Mojis and what they have earned. Click here to learn more.
Every Moji that is loaded on the site is immediately available in various merchandising formats that site visitors can purchase. As people see and vote on your Moji it will move up in the rankings and be merchandised in more and more ways, increasing your earnings potential. When you upload your Moji, we encourage you to submit it in as many formats as possible (wallpaper, Mojicon, avatar, etc…) in order to get the widest exposure.
