	Personality	A former hippie who survived a violent car crash thanks to experimental treatments. The treatments altered his genes and caused his hand and feet to excrete a sticky substance, which allows him to climb shear surfaces. Unfortunately the therapy also left him suffering from a form of Osteoporosis, making his bones extremely brittle.

Carl Grimley dropped out of school when he was just 14 years old. He drifted between part time jobs for several years before moving to the USA. Grimley used what little money he had managed to save to buy a camper van and a one way ticket to Texas. Here he met two fellow drifters, Jilly Moonbeam and Rizo Haybail who joined him on his cross country trip. On the way they experimented with any drugs they could, took part in political protests (whatever happened to be going on at the time) and played at hippie music festivals. The groups trip was cut short when they were involved in a violent crash near Washington. Grimley was driving when his van ploughed into the side of a heavy goods lorry and burst into flames. Rizo Haybail was killed instantly, and Jilly Moonbeam was thrown from the car, suffering severe injuries (she would later recover but never spoke to Grimley again, blaming him for the crash). Grimley was trapped in the wreckage for over an hour and suffered severe burns over 90% of his body, as well as dozens of broken bones. An experimental treatment in hospital saved Grimleys life, but left him with defects in his genes…. He became gravely ill and developed a rare form of Osteoporosis, causing his bones to become incredibly brittle. He also developed a super human climbing ability. He could literally stick to walls or even ceilings with a tacky fluid excreted from his hands and feet.
