He loves a good kill, the bloodier the better, the way he likes his steaks. If you hear the supernatural howl of his voice it's probably too late to run. You'll be dead soon enough!

This was another character I dressed up as. This was my senior year in college and we had a project where we got a few words and we were to draw a character and write a bio much like this site. But I didn't want to draw mine, I wanted to become my character. The night before I came up with a costume for this guy. I didn't have any make-up so I used some conte-crayon (red, black and white) which worked great. I put some white conte-crayon on a sheet of paper and kissed it to give my lips a roughed, dead look and huge black and red circles under my eyes. I wore a long black wig with a black swimming cap on top of that along with an underwater-hockey mask (which I did at the time) and then wore a black shirt (i changed the shirt to black and white stripes because it's more bad-ass.) and put my smock on like a cape, taped my arms up and fashioned a scythe from one of the metal easels from my studio. And then of course tons of fishnets. The demon hand that is sewn on in this illustration, was added for the illustration. I don't actually have a demon paw of any kind. In class when it came time for critique on mine I left the room and put on my costume and also set up a strobe light and fog machine I had at another door to the class-room. I came screaming in like a banshee with the scythe and freaked everyone out. One of the best times I've ever had! The watch in this illustration was taken from a photo of a clock from Nagasaki after the atomic bomb was dropped. I thought it fitting for a grim-reaper to wear.
