It's not that the Cranklecat doesn't like people or things, it just prefers to talk about the things it doesn't like. But only in a very witty, subtle fashion: the target may not realize they've been insulted until days or even years later. When it does like something it is equally understated in its displays of affection, making it the ideal companion for curmudgeonly types.
