Her spatula used to have a yellow glow around it, which offset the white on her clothing and gave this design some needed vibrance. Once I took it away, it really flattened out, so I put a teeny bit of yellow coloring into her hat and apron/dress to try and reduce the bland coloring. I guess it's a little better, but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. :) Hand drawn scan, finished in Photoshop.

this character has lots of personality, a lot of younger artists miss that nowadays and its nice to see characters come to life like this, its a great design and I agree, the lighting could be fixed a little, other than that, it's a great character.

Love the color palette! Baseball bat with an antennae though? Keep those silly thoughts rolling. You'll soon get the hang of it.
