Dusk Faeries are more or less harmless, spending their time enjoying crickets and fireflies during the heat of the summer and hibernating during winter. The worst thing they might do is steal a bit of sweets or a shiny bauble from picnickers or travelers.
They sometimes leave gifts for pleasant, kind children, but those who are mean, bullying, or generally nasty and obnoxious may find a mysterious sticky root beer barrel or wad of gum stuck in their hair.
