Jerry tried his best to make his parents proud. The Beef Eater family had a long history of rising through the ranks of the Killer Tomato army, and Jerry was to carry on the family tradition. Alas, he was not to grow much larger than your average cherry tomato. Ridiculed and looked down by his superiors, Jerry couldn't amount to more than a cook (Note: In the Killer Tomato army this is bottom rung and is a completely useless position because killer tomatoes devour their victims without the aid of proper preparation or seasonings). This worked to his advantage when the tomato army was squashed, and he was able to make his escape. Now he wanders America's farmlands, avoiding pickers, and trying to find his place in the world.
