El Catrin (The Gentleman,in Spanish) represents the typical corrupt businessman from superhero comics.He's also a bit of a parody of the Joker from Batman comics,because his image is somewhat based upon the Catrin card in the Mexican loteria game (similar to bingo,played with cards with pictures instead of little balls with numbers).
