Hey everyone. My name is Jamie and I've been drawing characters since I was little. Young and impressionable, I drew a lot of Mario and Sonic and those kinda things...did my own stuff whether it was superheroes or funny drawings of teachers. Loved Bruce Blitz as a child so that might be were some of my aesthetic comes from. My friends say I'm pretty punny, which might be evident in my characters...so if you see a really dorky character of mine you'll probably either want to punch the face, or punch me in the stomach.

I'm not an artist, I'm an illustrator. /sarcasm

What Do You Dream to Do With Your Characters?
Well ideally I'd love to have my own animated series or something, but since that will probably never happen I'd like to do some sort of children's book or comic book with some of my characters. I have a couple stories I've been playing around with and I think they're set up pretty good for those venues, and I enjoy the sort of pacing (that is, setup of story and resolution) that cartoons and comics provide. Basically, the goal is to be able to mass produce cardboard cutouts of my cartoon self. I think once I achieve that, I can retire from the art world.
