I painted my first watercolor at the age of 6 and I have been "piddling" every since. I love working in all sorts of media but experimenting with 'non-traditional' art supplies are always a kick. I have been in computer graphics/animation for years. I still get a thrill out of the digital realm but nothing is quite a satisfying as my analog art: throwing clay on a wheel, pencils, acrylics, stain glass etc. I enjoy working alone but actually have more fun brainstorming & creating in a group of fellow artisans.I am drawn to nature and biomorphic imagery. The language of nature & color fascinates me. I like to mix digital and the analog to form a new hybrid of expression. Abstract to nature, I like to keep my field of vision wide.
