Hey just noticed your post about my Munny. Thanks man! So ya got to see the show....I wish I could have made it out there, but I'm going to be featuring my art at this years Artepo New York 2007 (March 1st-5th) Man it's going to be a crazy time. cool cool .. how are you drawing your shading ? are you talking with like a Pencil ? or are you using a digital medium ? There are a lot of different ways to get a smooth blends but its mostly just practice and a light hand. Try other forms of shading as well.. im a big fan of Hatching myself when it comes to drawing with good o`ll paper and pencil..

hey man .. well you have a really simple moji (as far as design) which is great ..its going to make shading a lot easier. Basically just pick a light source, back when i was just learning shading i would draw a tiny light bulb on my paper to remind me where light was coming from.. just think about the shape you are drawing on and create a simple shadow .. don't worry about fading it out quite yet. If your using Illustrator i suggest using black (25% trans & Multiply blending mode) this also works well with Photoshop. Anyways try that out you can tell if it work or not.. if you have any other questions hollar ill see what else i can do ..
