Refund policy for Mojicash and marketplace purchases.
Mojicash is a closed-loop virtual currency. In plain English: topping up buys you chips that live on Mojizu, can't be cashed out, and aren't refundable except in a few specific situations explained below.
Last updated April 18, 2026
1. Mojicash top-ups are non-refundable
When you buy Mojicash with a credit card, Apple Pay, or any other payment method, the chips are credited to your wallet immediately and are non-refundable. This is because Mojicash is a virtual good delivered instantly and usable the moment it lands in your account — it is not a service you're paying for over time.
The only exceptions are the ones required by applicable consumer law (in some jurisdictions, a mandatory cooling-off period applies to unused purchases). If that applies to you and you request a refund within the statutory window, email ali@sabet.com with your account email and the order reference.
2. Marketplace purchases
Mojizu's marketplace sells numbered editions of hand-drawn Mojis for Mojicash. Since Mojicash itself has no real-money value, these are not real-money purchases and are not eligible for a real-money refund.
Inside the marketplace, marketplace trades, tips, and offers settle in Mojicash and are final. Please double-check the price, the edition number, and the terms of an offer before confirming.
3. When we issue Mojicash credits
If the platform causes a problem that costs you Mojicash — a double charge during a flaky checkout, a Moji taken down after you bought it, a duplicate tip from a glitchy retry — we'll credit your wallet in Mojicash to make you whole. Specific scenarios:
- Top-up double-charged. Full Mojicash credit for the extra amount, issued within 7 days of report.
- Moji taken down after purchase. The most recent sale price (or an equivalent) is credited back to the owner in Mojicash.
- Duplicate or stuck transaction. We review the transaction log and reverse the duplicate.
- Wrong price displayed. If an obvious pricing bug let you buy a Moji for the wrong amount and we reverse the trade, both sides are restored to pre-trade state in Mojicash.
4. Tips are final
Tips to creators are intentionally one-way and cannot be clawed back. Before you tip, make sure you're tipping the right creator for the right work.
5. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer for a Mojicash purchase that was already used on the platform may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of remaining Mojicash — because the chips tied to that payment are already spent. If you think a charge is wrong, please reach out to us first so we can fix it directly.
6. How to reach us
For anything related to refunds, credits, or billing, email ali@sabet.com from the email on your account and include the order reference (or a screenshot of the wallet transaction). We try to respond within 2 business days.
